The Tuckahoe Police are investigating three residential burglaries that recently occurred in the area of Lake Avenue, north of Main Street. The first burglary occurred on Lake Avenue on September 16th, the second on Railroad Avenue on October 6th and the most recent on Lake Avenue on October 7th. All of the burglaries occurred during the day while the homes were unoccupied.
In all cases, entry was gained through an unlocked ground floor door or window. Suspects in the most recent burglary (10/07/2008) are believed to be three or four teenaged black males driving an older model white Acura Integra. The vehicle and occupants were observed earlier on October 7th in the Bronxville Manor area of Eastchester.
It is not believed that all three burglaries were committed by the same perpetrators.
Residents are urged to secure their homes and immediately report any unusual activity to the police.
