WESTCOP/ECAP

Eastchester Community Action Partnership (ECAP) is a community based, non-profit organization, located on Main Street in the Village of Tuckahoe which serves the residents of Eastchester, Tuckahoe and Bronxville. We embrace the needs of students, seniors, working class individuals and families in our community. Our efforts center on mobilizing and managing resources through partnerships and collaborations thus enabling the low-income and at-risk population, to achieve greater self-sufficiency.

WESTCOP/ECAP services include:

Kitchen and Pantry

Distribute fresh fruits/vegetables/meats and poultry each month

Distribute ready-to-eat food and baked goods daily

Provide free emergency food service to anyone in need

Educational Support (sponsored by The Community Fund)

Free after-school program for children ages 7-12

Summer Enrichment for children ages 7-12

Personal & Household Support

Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP)

Rental Assistance

New and gently used clothing

Baby and Household furniture

Public Access

Referral Service and Client Advocacy

Free Telephone, Fax, Copier and Computer use

Summer Employment (14-21 years old)

Employment opportunities (18 and older)
