Cheers to Frank DiMarco and the DPW. We now have 1 of our collection trucks running on Vegetable Oil. Frank is procuring the “fuel” around the Village. Operation has been problem free for a few months now.
SPECIAL THANKS TO PETER COSTA WHO ARRANGED OUR CONTINUOUS SUPPLY OF OIL WITH WESTCHESTER COUNTY, AT NO COST.
Tuckahoe has gone wild with Recycling. In the 1st half of 2008, we have nearly doubled our load. We’re hopeful this continues for the 2nd half. The Village saves considerable money as it does not have to pay for the transfer. RESIDENTS.. Keep up the great work...
Solar Panels...We are embarking on a preliminary study to determine generation and cost to implement new Solar technology on the rooftop of the Community Center/Library.
