Attention all Tuckahoe Businesses!
The Village of Tuckahoe needs your help to identify ways in which we can assist your local business to be as successful as possible during these most challenging of times. The Village Board of Trustees is committed to take all suggestions seriously and review expeditiously as we all get back on our feet.
On May 21st the Village held our first Zoom meeting with members of the Eastchester Tuckahoe Chamber of Commerce and a few ideas suggested were based on outdoor seating availability for restaurants.
In response to these suggestions, the Village will waive all permit fees for outdoor sidewalk seating as per the ‘Application/ Renewal for Sidewalk Café Permit’; all rules and regulations such as maintaining minimum ADA compliant sidewalks will be in effect.
Please find the application at the following link and submit to Village Administrator David Burke at firstname.lastname@example.org for quick review.
The Village will also consider use of parking lots or streets for sit-down restaurant service by request. We ask you send a request to email@example.com to disseminate to the Board of Trustees for approval. Parameters for a ‘Parking Lot Seating Request’ can be found on the Village website.
Again, all businesses are encouraged to email the village with any idea you may have to assist with a successful reopening in the coming months.
