Village Attorney

The Office of the Village Attorney is in charge of and conducts all of the legal business of the municipal corporation which is the Village of Tuckahoe.

The Office is headed by a Village Attorney who is the legal advisor to the Mayor, the Village Board of Trustees, the Department Heads, and to each officer, department, bureau, board and commission of the Village, including the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Planning Board.

State law and the Tuckahoe Village Code establish the basic framework for defining the roles and responsibilities of the Office of the Village Attorney.
